A fifty-seat hall, built around a concert grand.

The hall
Nobody sits far from the piano.
The stage is timber, curved, raised a few steps above the floor, with the concert grand at its centre. Slatted timber runs up the walls behind and beside it; above the seating the ceiling lifts away into the dark.
Fifty seats is small enough that every listener is close to the instrument, and quiet enough that a soft passage stays soft instead of disappearing. A student hears the real consequence of their touch, and a recording made here captures the piano rather than the room.
No acoustic measurements are published here. Figures will follow a survey rather than precede one.

Three different pianos.
A concert grand, another grand, and an upright. You get real variety here, not one piano trying to cover everything.
